My husband loves this place & goes every year. The owner always has books held aside for him! Prices are fantastic!
Great bookstore - although it is well off the beaten path, it's worth the detour. Lots of books, most of them hardcover, at amazingly cheap prices... about $1 - $3 per book. Even brand new books that someone has traded in might only be $2. Might only be open during the summer.

Drove down today from Belfast, Maine only to have the owner tell me the store was closed. That was quite a long drive to find out it is only open on Saturday and Sunday and a huge disappointment that the owner was unwilling to bend her hours since she was doing work in her store at the time anyway. The owner should post her hours online, or state the business hours on her answering machine for people who call ahead. I don't think it will be worth the effort to stop by again, it was pretty far off my beaten path. Wish I could have seen inside since I have heard great things about the store.
